The one I tried only SEEMED to just to a keyword search of the reg & C: I would have thought a more usefull approach would be based on some sort of database of what & where the unwanted program actually installed : files & reg entries :badpc: .. BTW he wants every trace of the programs removed. Only 1 sure way to do that , format or re-image. Some legit programs insert rootkits etc that are very hard to get rid of. |

If I was leasing out a pc/laptop i would image the drive, format/reinstall windows then at the end of the lease I would wipe again or recover the machines state from the image software. Something like clonezilla would do the job ;) |
