| 1193905 | 2011-04-13 02:41:00 | I have an Asus N20A running Vista Home Premium (yes I know). Recently my speakers stopped working which wasn't so much of a problem as the sound was pretty scratchy at best and I prefer to listen via headphones. Today the headphones stopped working!!!! and I can't figure out how to make them go again. Your help would be much appreciated. |

| 1193907 | 2011-04-14 05:29:00 | Thanks LL No nothing marked like that in Device Manager. I have downloaded the sound driver again for the computer, and the earphones are working again but the Laptop speakers are still not working!!! :( |

| 1193908 | 2011-04-15 08:43:00 | Dirty or damaged switch inside headphone socket on laptop (turns off the external/laptop speakers when you plug the headphones in), if you use this socket a lot it could also be a bad/dry solder joint from this plug to the laptop motherboard (fatigue from much use). | feersumendjinn (64) | ||
