1195710 2011-04-20 00:44:00 I have upgraded my daughter pc to windows 7 x64 pro, not licensed yet but will buy one before the 30 days are up.
She used movie maker a lot, should i just download this or can anyone recommend a better (free preferably) one

TIA

1195711 2011-04-20 00:47:00 Depends what format you're going to load. Win7 doesnt come with MM. And I dont think there is any other version besides the one below for Win7

The one here works fine tho (noeld.com)

1195712 2011-04-20 00:48:00 Windows Live movie maker works OK for what it is - just depends on weather you want more features. wainuitech (129)

1195714 2011-04-20 01:05:00 Yeah as Wainui said, the free Live Movie Maker works just fine for basic stuff, it's pretty forgiving with what types of files you can throw at it too. wratterus (105)
1195715 2011-04-20 01:08:00 You can install Vistas MM in 7.
(IMHO it is superior to other versions)
Just Google it up, I would, but on dial-up at present!
