| 1195117 | 2011-04-17 04:36:00 | Hi all I have a 1.7GB MP4 file which is 49 minutes long and is 1080 HD. It is a recording of the Foo Fighters playing their entire new album in Dave's garage. What I want to do is edit the clip, individually cutting each song, converting it to burn as a DVD with chapters which enable me to skip from song to song or select which song I want to play from a menu. I'm looking for advice. Am I best to convert to the DVD file format first then do the editing or vice versa? And also any suggestions on the best programs to use will be gratefully accepted. Before anyone asks - the file was provided via the foo fighters and is available for anybody to download. Thanks. |

| 1195118 | 2011-04-17 04:40:00 | Format factory might convert it. Dont know, never used it. Dont know if handbrake will convert it. Dont use that either. I use Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate to convert to different formats. But its not free. You could convert it to WMV then edit it in Moviemaker then burn it with DVD maker.
