As for the hitching, was great, got a ride to putaruru then tirau then hamilton, got picked up in hamilton by a brand new holden commodore with a 6ft blone 18 y.o model who was on the front cover of 'que' magazine! She went out of her way to take me all the way to north auckland to the house I needed to go, and im going water skiing with her and her family over xmas! I told a mate what happened and he doesnt believe me haha

1159294 2010-12-10 07:24:00 dang that sucks.

Right now I'm doing the odd xbox mod (not the flashing part) which includes putting in cold cathode tubes and colored SMD's on the controllers/360, after I get some more fiberglass i'm going to try making new controller bodies to suit the customers.

After the Multi touch table is build and looking better than a gutted LCD screen on styrofoam boxes that will go up for auction on TM, not sure how well it will do but as far as I know its the only one of its kind for sale in NZ

Also fixing a couple of pumps and rainwater systems around the place, gotta love a dry spell for motivation.

Don't loose hope, there's plenty of work out there, just be creative and persistent, its going to cost me a good $95,000 to start my career :p so be happy you wont start working with that sort of debt.

1159295 2010-12-10 07:29:00 i'd like to do build a pc one day, out of cheap parts off trademe, run ubuntu on it or something, wouldnt cost much i would think but that dream is on hold.

i've been persistant, even got a list of the places i've applied at , with a note if they replied, said no, etc. so far its at 38 places.

life sucks atm.
