| 1158754 | 2010-12-07 06:52:00 | I told a couple of youse guys via PM from my GTalk IM area and my e-mail addy that I'd be here tonight (no applause, please) and somehow I made it . Yeah - that last 'treatment' was a killer and had me stoved up for a couple of weeks with severe muscle spasms and I dislocated my left hip during one of what my doctor said was "NOT a 'seizure'" - but I think it was real enough to be The Full Monty . They also started me on 'Mood Modifiers" - which I would have actually paid for when I was younger - or at least sold for a huge profit . I really didn't WANT my mood modified - I like me crotchety and nasty and I stopped taking their prescription LSD after a couple of doses . Why? Because now I know the personal names of the suction-cup people who live in the wallpaper pattern, that's why . I've been sorta up-n-about for almost a week - but it costs me a lot the next day as I lie there assuming room temperature . I try to occasionally blink to at least signify that I am still very much alive inside, from time to time . Walking is not a good or even ALLOWED option yet as the hip isn't going to heal at all and there's not much chance that it ever will . What the Hay do doctors know anyway? I was supposed to be on wheels the last time when I had that motorcycle accident anyway - I fooled 'em all that time too . I will walk later on, but I have to wear the belt from my pants (and I don't usually wear a belt) on my hip to hold the hip together . Don't tell my doctor though . Don't get old or swim in Agent Orange - let that be a lesson to youse guys! Speaking of food ----- Tonight I had imported NZ roast mutton - shank of, really - for dinner and I think that got me up in a proper way again . Lots of garlic and salt and black pepper and (you'll kill me for this) my wife made me a big slab of Yorkshire Pudding - which I know is sacrilege to eat without beef - but if it was gonna be my last meal - then that's my choice . I think I chewed the bone until there's no more protein left on it too . Gads - youse guys live in food-on-the-hoof heaven - don'cha know it? Oh - and no MINT JELLY either! Yuck! How youse guys can damage a perfect food with MINT JELLY is 'way beyond me! Let the meat speak for itself and keep the Mint Jelly, ketchup and chocolate sauce off the lamb! For God's sake - don't EVEN think of puttin' any Marmite or Vegemite in the same room either! Thanks for exporting that delicious dead animal for me! I'll give any of youse who want to send me some more, my parcel mailing address . PS - how do I get rid of this graphic nasty intrusion into the post area? I tried writing in the 3-inch wide box here - and actually it's a lot easier to Copy/Paste what I write on WordPad first then bring it to here - as the formatting is easier to read where I type it out anywhere else . Oh - and the Smilies are all over the place too . I'll be back to rattle cages, yank (the verb, not the noun) tails and kick over youse guys water bowl with more gusto in a few days . |
