I will however say that unless you're going with their Cable service (Not ADSL), then *never* touch TelstraClear.

What's your street address (Leave the number off if you want, or give us a neighbours address) and we'll throw it into www.telecomwholesale.co.nz/maps and let you know a bit about your connection and what sort of service you should be expecting.

1195728 2011-04-21 00:16:00 Well it says im in an ADSL2+ zone. I think my bad internet only happens on the one computer, which of cause is my gaming one. Openingfuel (14473)
1195729 2011-04-21 03:34:00 You are having problems with Gaming on one PC but otherwise the internet is ok?

Perhaps you should fill us in with a bit more background :) it may be possible to improve things on your current setup.

Wireless or wired? and what speed is the LAN connection between your PC and the Modem / switch etc.

Games dont always play nice with other uses of the net, many connections perform poorly if someone is dowloading something for example.

 we used to have those s.hitty speeds with telstraclear too. my dad changed to trust power kinect last year and we get twice that speed.

Note: that ping reading is incorrect. It is almost always at 50 to 70. see, here's the results from pingtest.net (through our wpa-psk wifi network): www.pingtest.net
