1194919 2011-04-16 00:53:00 ATI Radeon 5770, AMD Phenom 11 x 4 840 CPU, 4 Gb RAM, Gigabyte GE-P450N PSU, ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 mobo, WIN 7 home premium 64
System consistently fails to boot from cold, runs the Windows jingle then stops before the password, waiting does not help. Putting the system in sleep mode then waking up immediately produces the password followed by the desktop.
I can run ten or more reboots without fail when the system is warm.
Ran 60 minute OCCT which returned "no problem" message, ran at 19 for 60 seconds then up to 50/53 until last four minutes slowly running down to 24.
Does this indicate a PSU problem?
I've updated the graphics driver despite the system being brand new.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
