1196580 2011-04-23 02:28:00 I want to buy a good quality router for home – will eventually be used for streaming to Apple TV and the iPad 2. Only replace a router every 75 years or so……………
Appreciate any suggestions - thanks

1196583 2011-04-23 08:16:00 Not quite. There's some *terrible* Linksys routers out there, same for Netgear, same for NetComm (Dynalink). It's literally hit and miss on a per-router basis with ADSL routers, even from the same manufacturer.

This may help: www.c2s.co.nz

1196584 2011-05-25 22:25:00 Purchased the new model NetGear DGND3700 (www.gamma.co.nz) and did before and after speed tests (ihug no ADSL2) and the results are quite spectacular – 95% increase in download speeds and 390% increase in upload speeds!!
Just shows what a BIG difference good equipment can make. The iPad2 is now in top gear!
