1196054 2011-04-21 04:47:00 I have just purchased myself a Asus netbook.

Is it possible to remove all of the rubbish that comes loaded on new netbooks?

Windows :D

Any standard Windows DVD will work BTW, chances are you'll have to install it from a flash drive anyway so ei.cfg isn't a problem ;)

1196060 2011-04-21 07:32:00 Off load things like Nortons and the trail versions of Office etc.

Just got a new work Toshiba, wiped off Nortons and various games etc that get installed.

Then install what you want such as your favourite AV program, etc.
