1195977 2011-04-20 23:41:00 Hi there!
Have received an offer from Orcon by mail. I'm now on Telecom 5gig plus landline for $83 monthly plan.
Orcon offers 30 Gig plus landline for $70 per month.
I'm at Mt Albert St Lukes area, new site. Perhaps has optical cabling?
What do you think?
Thanks

1195978 2011-04-20 23:59:00 They don't have a 30GB. They have a 25GB. And it's if you are on their own equipment. Are you? Go to their website and enter your ph number in their search tool, you might be, you might not.

Also note the $80 25GB says no phone line. The one with phoneline says $110.

It's their "best deal ever" promotion.

1195980 2011-04-21 00:22:00 Just checked my phone line. It timed out several times before it came into action. Snorkbox (15764)
1195981 2011-04-21 00:26:00 Looks good, too bad i'm too cheap to afford that and its almost useless to me anyway since I'm only home 2x weekends a month, I only use about 20gb :(

I still can't get over the fact there are no data caps in china though, epic awesome ($30NZD for 2mbps)

1195982 2011-04-21 01:06:00 China also has 100x more people per square-meter than we do. Or something to that effect... Chilling_Silence (9)

Looked up their website. 30 gig indeed $97, and renting modem another $10.
Telecom offers 10 gigs for $105, but for home plan at $83 is 5 gigs, but total cap 40Gig after upgrade.
What does it means?
