1161524	2010-12-14 04:46:00	We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Troops, Orphans, Homeless etc. In the last month we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey , Greece , Pakistan . Our pensioners living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid or get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour Hundreds of Millions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries! Julia Gillard is funding 200 Islamic schools in Indonesia Plus she is letting in thousands of mainly Muslim boat people and no one knows what this is costing Australia in money now and then the future problems this will create! Then we have the 1500 single male mainly afghan refugees who are also mainly Muslim, who have a track record of treating Western Women as trash going to the town of Northam just a short distance from Perth. How safe will the women and girls ( yes they treat young girls the same way) of that town feel? We have thousands of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans. AUSTRALIA a country where we have homeless without shelter, children and adults going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' medication, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc. YET................... They are requesting donations for the people of Pakistan TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding,, doctors and medical supplies. Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.	Cicero (40)
1161525	2010-12-14 07:06:00	Australia is not broke, just like NZ it has some of the lowest public Debt in the OECD. Just like NZ, Australia is running a high current government deficit in the last few years. Over most of the last decade the Australian government has been running surpluses just like NZ. Aussies appear to be developing the same sensational stereotyping of Muslim as Americans, very worrying sign. I thought you guys were smarter than this?. Is the Australian population dumbing down as well?. Maybe you could herd them into camps and Gas them all, oh wait thats already been done in the holocaust. Dont feel bad those tanned good looking fellows are pulling your chicks, maybe there are some nice single tanned submissive Muslim girls around for you! Australia is a fairly generous country like NZ, we give far more "per head of population" than the United States. The West already takes so much from 3rd world and developing countries, its nice to give a bit back now and gain don't you think?	Battleneter2 (9361)

As someone who has been living in Australia for a number of years, i think perhpas I am slightly better qualified to comment on what is a growing problem for Australia, and one that the electorate is going to punish the Gillard Government for. This year illegal boat arrivals are on track to exceed 7000, and according to figures quoted in the House of Representatives, each illegal arrival costs the Government $81,900, so the cost for these self invited illegal immigrants fro this calendar year is likely to be close to AUD600million - not exactly petty cash. It was suggested that a military base in Darwin should be taken over to house the influx, with the Australian Military being required to move out, however the proposal was shelved because the accommodation was deemed not to be up to standard. These mainly Muslim illegal immigrants, euphemistically called "asylum seekers" have transitted several muslim countries, where theoretically they should be more philosphically attuned to the local culture, en- route to Australia which is basically a non secular judeo-christian society which they openly profess to despise. When released into society, they obdurately resist integrating into Australian society, choosing congegate in Muslim gettos, and in many cases becoming rabidly anti to Australia and the values and freedoms of our society, however, quite happy to draw welfare from the Australian taxpayer. There have been multiple incidents of Mullahs, living off the Australian Taxpayer and preaching jihad against thsi country. Fortunately to date, ASIO and the Federal Police have managed to thwart several planned terrorist attacks in Australia, and in a recent raid over 2000 firearms were recovered. In the run-up to the last election, illegal immigration, dressed up as asylum seekers, was an issue, and Gillard talked tough, and sufficient voters were sucked in to allow her to just scrape in and govern as a minority with the aid of greens and independents. Since the election control of the northern sea borders have become a sick joke, and this is rightly causing a lot of anger in the electorate. The average Auissie is sufficiently aware, that he will not allow Muslim immigration to become the problem it has in Britain and Western Europe, and is likely to punish political parties that don't address the problem. There is no future for a country in allowing mass immigration from any group into the country, when they make it patently obvious that they do not respect the host country's culture, and do not wish to integrate into the society of the country. 1161527	2010-12-14 19:04:00	Your right about the immigration problem in England Ken, I lived on the SE coast nearest France and my cousin works for immigration, the problem is huge with several hundreds arriving each week, the French police look the other way as they know if the illegals can get over the channel it's not their problem anymore	gary67 (56)

NZ has a large number of pacific islander over stayers etc. We also have a growing number of Muslims in our population, had a family as neighbors at my last house, nice people. I see close similarities between your attitudes to Muslims and pre WW2 Germany. Hitler was able to manipulate his population into war to fill his agenda using the raw ignorant hatred of Jews. Do they a stay there forever ? b get sent back overseas somewhere ? c get let into Australia ? 1161530	2010-12-14 20:03:00	I think that if any Muslim (or any other religion for that matter) that wants to live in a Christian country, that one of there entry requirements is if they want to practice a religion in that country it has to be one of the Christian ones. :)	Trev (427)

Mmm . We should tell the rest of the world to get stuffed perhaps? Maybe we should just change our method of generating income . Stop banging on about meat, milk powder and logs and start making something . How is it no govts seem to get basic budgeting right? Going on this morning about selling assests again . It's like if I said I don't earn enough to pay my bills, I should start selling the furniture and stuff . Not try and get a better paying job .	pctek (84)

Not try and get a better paying job. umm actually pctek wrong rant, Cicero is talking about Australia, but over 50% of Aus exports are like rocks dug out of the ground and sent to China, same theme.
