| 1161229 | 2010-12-12 23:46:00 | These days, I wont touch the WD Black. Out of the last 6 that I have had in new builds 4 have failed within a few weeks, or started making " strange" noises from day 1, and got RMAed - replaced by request with Blues, they are a lot more reliable. |

We've had numerous troubles with them, so I've been sticking with Seagate, or WD Blue, or recently even trying some of the Samsung Spinpont F3's. | inphinity (7274) | ||

I wouldn't want to go near a 3TB drive. Perhaps in some years the 2TB will become more reliable but for now I will stick to late-model 1TB and lower. |

Hmmmm, i didnt see any stats for this!...links please and just remember that SSD are new tech, so I would of expected some teething problems. |
