1161767 2010-12-15 23:43:00 Motorists are far to greedy and complain about cyclists too much. I intend to cycle on the footpath to give pedestrians a fair chance to complain as well. I may also cycle on the train tracks so that train drivers dont feel left out, and possibly on the airport runway so as not to discriminate against pilots. I would cycle on the foreshore and seabed but....well lets not start with that.... Barnabas (4562)

should be:
being a cyclist I dont give a damn about laws or pedestrians
I will cycle through ped crossing at full speed when cars have stopped
to give way to peds. I will continue to ride 4 abreast in Aks most dangerous road for cyclists & only use the cycle lane so I dont have to stop at traffic lights.
The fact that cycling is dangerous PASTIME is not my concern, as its just not my fault if I get bowled. I will not mitigate the risk factor.

1161770 2010-12-16 00:44:00 I find it funny how it took the media over a week to twig that Premium Fuel is over $2 per litre. Timing with the media catching on coinciding with the school break up :groan:
Meanwhile the standard price of the more commonly used 91 Octane is still a few cents shy of that magic $2.

Of course some of us in the more remoter parts(outside Auckland:rolleyes:) have known about higher prices for a while now :sleep

You didnt point that out in your post but then depends on how you read it

Unfortunately I can only use my bike for recreational rather than going to work otherwise I could see a huge saving to be made of $90 per week on a week it dont rain :punk
