1160929 2010-12-14 07:23:00 So if a foreign government (the US) wants to control a regions resources they can just trump up some excuse "Weapons of mass destruction" send in there army and slaughter 45,000+ innocent civilians while spinning feel good craaap to there own population about freedom.

How many of those deaths were caused by coalition forces and how many were caused by insurgent forces?

In the same vain, I assume you are one of those people who believes that 9/11 was carried out by the US government?

Just for a second ask yourself "what are the terrorist fighting for", whats this really all about.

Honestly have you ever considered the other sides perspective? or are we just 100% in the right and god is with us etc lol

To answer your question. Al-Qaeda who are supported by a number of mainly middle East governments and interest groups carried out the attacks on 9/11. Its obvious opposing government's cannot go head on with the US in open war and therefore turn to Guerrilla warfare.

1160931 2010-12-14 07:49:00 The main root cause of so called terrorism is the occupation of the West Bank of Jordan and blockade of Gaza
Once the problem in the middle east is sorted there wont be a so called terrorist problem in western countries.
Until then we must expect more attacks as we still support the invading army and its occupation.
Remember one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter like the germans called us the enemy in ww1 and 2.

I have tried to look at it from their point of view, but whatever their specific reason is, it never justifies killing innocent civilians. Never. Think of it like this; you're just a regular Joe/Jane, minding your own business, earning a dollar or two, and a foreign force comes in to your home land, starts killing people. The foreign force has its own reasons for killing your people, invading your land, etc. So, how do your react? By going to the homeland of the foreign force and killing citizens in a giant office block?

No. You don't do that. You kill the people who are killing your people. Oh wait, have you ever watched any terrorist videos? They keep saying 'death to America' and such. Not 'death to the American forces' or similar. They just hate America so much that they want to erase the whole population. Seems like tarring them all with the same brush to me.

Sorry, but I have to x2 here. The problems which cause terrorism are far more deeply rooted than that. It would be nice, but it isn't going to happen.

No thats from our point of view. When a US bomb drops on your house in Baghdad killing two of your children, the feeling is very much the same as you sitting in a Mcdonalds in down town New York and a Suicide bomber kills two of your children.

Definitely a cornerstone issue, however only part of the problem. Even if solved decades ago there is still going to be a power struggle for control of the resources n the Middle East. Saddam still would have invaded Kuwait, the US still would have reacted like it was US soil. Iran Still would be trying for nukes to defend against the US. Probably Iraq still would have happened.

1160936 2010-12-15 18:48:00 I worry about all criminals, imported and home grown. I also worry about liberal ass monkey prosecutors like yourself who let crims into our streets.

I can't sleep, I have chronic insomnia and when I do sleep I have nightmares of people such as you self. :(

You're in a bad way - go see a shrink.

(Just my attempt to lighten things up a bit)
