1161756 2010-12-15 05:51:00 Hmm. I put about 40L in it and it did cost $75. Dunno know. More.
Beats the Ute though, that cost $62 last time, dunno if was right out but then add diesel tax and the sickening cost of the rego which is due shortly. $596 for a year!!!!!!!!!

If only there was a way wind back the speedo without breaking it :(

There is. Toyotas are easy as pie. Thats why digital odo's are standard kit on new cars now.

There's always the option of disconnecting the speedo altogether, helps keep the k's down ;)

1161760 2010-12-15 07:56:00 Dear old parents gave me a nice little car, this nice little car (1.5 ltr straight 4) burns through petrol faster than my 3ltr V6. Costs about $120 to fill the 3ltr. The Error Guy (14052)
1161761 2010-12-15 09:49:00 worse thing is the cost of diesel. bulk of the transport is all fuelled with diesel. this hikes up the price on everything else. tweak'e (69)
1161762 2010-12-15 18:18:00 There will be outrage etc etc etc etc over the latest rise to fuel prices but eventually people will stop maoning and carry on regardless, back to the old habits of driving like tossers not realising a gentle foot saves fuel. But then there will be those that think a gentle foot means holding up all the traffic around them.

Ostritch head in the sand we knew a couple of years ago people was on the rise and got a taste of climbing prices then and then we ignored all the indications because we rubbed our hands at the economic slowdown that brought fuel prices down again.

Look on the brightside if our dollar slides to us$0.55 where the markets like it and the price Oil hits the high of $130 then we can look forward to another 62cents going on our litre

As it is the Oil barons are aiming for $100 barrell so expect another 12-20cents in the next few months assuming we dont slide in to another recession.

Na economies of scale more buying power the more we consume :P
