1161068	2010-12-12 22:26:00	We need a few “Grady Judd’s” running our Police Force. ;) Could save the country a fortune in feeding and housing the Oxygen Thieves. Out of America a few years ago: An illegal alien in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued. The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area and as soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times. Naturally, the media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor undocumented immigrant 68 times. Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had." High time we put an end to the Pussy Footing around in this country too unless the “Bleeding Hearts” are prepared to provide the Crim’s food and shelter. :rolleyes:	B.M. (505)
1161069	2010-12-12 22:38:00	I also think the police should be armed. It would act as a deterrent. If the police officer involved in the latest incident had of been carrying a firearm either drawn or in its holster this incident would probably of not happened. If you know someone has a gun and you didn't, you would think twice about attacking them as the likely hood of you been shot at and killed are very high. :)	Trev (427)

No wonder people don't have respect for the police any more. We only have to look at Aussie (a similar country to us) Hardly any attacks on Aussie police And hardly any people shot by their police. And they would do this for every traffic incident? What if they laugh at the cop?, he has been issued a gun, has he been issued a license to kill/execute as well?..so he can just shoot people at will? You want to raise the stakes to the highest level at the start of play and lead with a bluff :groan: good luck with that, The real world would tear that system apart within a week.	Metla (12)

1161076	2010-12-12 23:24:00	Personally I'm not against the police having guns, but really if the attack tells us anything its that their training and performance is well below a level that modern policing requires, Not to mention some of their personal. I would like to see them raise their level of expertise before raising their level of fire power.	Metla (12)

They don't receive appropriate firearms training as it is, you think they are suddenly going to start pumping millions of dollars and time into constant firearms practice and monitoring? How much of a fright do you think you would have to give an officer who just happened to have a loaded gun pointed at your head and his finger on the trigger for things to end badly?
