Zara Baxter, the online editor for PC Authority in Australia, is going to be joining us as our new editor. :clap Personally I'm stoked that there's going to be another woman on the team! Especially one with Zara's experience. Congrats PCW - that's a real coup (and a big loss for PCA). |

| 1161685 | 2010-12-15 06:05:00 | In case the new editor bothers to look in here... Well, for my money, I'd like to see the mag concentrate more on computers and software in general, rather than gushing on obsessively about the latest Windows OS. I'd also appreciate a lot less guff about cellphones. Sure, there's a definite overlap developing as these things get meatier processors, but I really want to read about stuff I can build and manipulate - hardware and software, so closed / proprietary systems are franklly a bore. The same applies to cameras, MP3 players. Dull, dull dull. They belong in a consumer electronics mag or in some junkmail circular, not in a computer magazine. |
