Hitler was able to manipulate his population into war to fill his agenda using the raw ignorant hatred of Jews. . Firstly these people are uninvited and are entering the country illegally, and the numbers doing so are growing at an alarming rate - The cost of illegal boat entries for 2010 is in the vicinity of AUD600 million, or just short of NZ$ 1 Billion - a large majority of them continue to be an ongoing social welfare liability for years. If there was no border security and these illegal immigrants were just accepted, the flow would become a flood in a relatively short time, and the cost would be unsupportable. The basic premise is that the Government of a country should be the determing authority as to whether an individual is allowed to enter the country, not the people smuggler who accepts an IOU or cash in exchange for a passage on an unseaworthy fishing boat. Australian experience has already shown that these arrivals have created a security and terrorism problem, as has also been the case in Britain and virtually every country in western Europe, and a Governments first duty is to the security and safety of its own population. The problem in Australia has already grown to the extent of not if but when there is a terrorist incident with loss of life and property damage. The final point that should be made, is that Australia is by and large a very tolerant and laid back country, however toleration is a two way street, and far to many of these Muslim illegal immigrants, euphemistically called asylum seekers by the soft in the head lefties, are intolerant of Australian values and freedoms, and not only do large numbers refuse to attempt to integrate into Australian society, but in their mosques, set up in this country by Saudi money, the Australian lifestyle is openly condemned. Again this is not unique to Australia, but has also been the case in Britain and Western Europe. If you want to see toleration in practice, Muslim style, just visit Saudi Arabia, non Muslims have little or no civil rights and trying to practice a non Muslim religion there is not only fraught but hazardous. A friend of mine in the oil industry related how at Riyadh Airport in Saudi Arabia, he witnessed a customs official confiscate a Bible from a European passenger's hand luggage and then tear it up in front of the passenger. No brownie points for working out what would happen to an Australian or NZ Customs officer who behaved similarly to a Muslim passenger and relieved him of and destroyed a copy of the Koran. One would have no trouble envisaging the International uproar that would occur, and the resultant problems there would be from fanatics determined to avenge the insult to Islam. Muslims in Britain, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand enjoy civil rights and freedoms that the majority of Muslim countries are not prepared to grant to non-Muslims. If a Christian, Budhist, et al wishes to become an aetheist or join another religion, they are free to do so. In many Muslim countries the punishment for apostasy by a Muslim is death. So Battlenetter, I suggest you stop preaching about intolerance, and just accept the argument, that if someone wishes to move to and live in a western democracy, then accepting the culture and values of their host country should be part of the deal, and if they don't wish to do so they should be denied residence. Actually not quite correct pctek. You should have said "I should start selling the neighbours' furniture and stuff". That is what governments have been doing since this right wing agenda began - selling off things that WE and previous generations have paid for, without any reference to the real owners - us. It is just like Brierley's and the other asset strippers - they are asset stripping the country for the benefit of their mates - e.g. the sale of the railways to Fay Richwhite and their bumboys. 1161537	2010-12-15 02:55:00	Cicero, Don't worry about being banned, it is their charming habit of slicing off the odd part from the body of those who have offended against their laws; Seriously civilised people the Saudis, executions are public, by beheading and usually they happen on a Thursday, the first to turn up are the clean-up party with their hoses to give the place a bit of a sluice down afterwards, then a truck to take away the human debris, then the swordsman and finally the lucky ones. The condemned only finds out that today is the day for his/her turn when they come for him/her to escort to the ceremony, so no chance to mentally prepare for it, and every Thursday, all the condemned go through a mental hell until they find out it is some other luckless sod's turn, and they have another week's life. Wahabism, which is probably the most extreme sect of Islam is what is practised and exported by Saudi.They have established chairs at Australian Universities - eg Griffith here in Brisbane, and have established mosques and Islamic schools here. 1161539	2010-12-15 04:49:00	Being a responsible citizen - : Yesterday morning, I saw a radical Muslim, ranting on about Western Aggression in the peace loving Islamic paradise of Afghanistan. He was standing on a jetty at Northcote. He got so excited he lost his footing, fell into the harbour and apparently could not swim. Being a responsible citizen, I immediately notified the emergency services. By noon today, they still hadn't arrived. I'm beginning to think I've wasted a *****y stamp!	R2x1 (4628)

He was standing on a jetty at Northcote. He got so excited he lost his footing, fell into the harbour and apparently could not swim. 1161543	2010-12-15 22:47:00	Tragedy that people have to die, but if they had played by the rules instead of paying an Indonesian people smuggler to take them to Australia on an unseaworthy fishing boat, those who died would have been alive today. Since the boats that make it are confiscated and destroyed by the authorities, sound seaworthy boats with an economic life are not used for this passage. This loss of life, in no way changes the stance that it is the Government who decides who enters the country, and that they must do so legally. One simple question. Since so many of these Muslim illegal immigrants despise the values, lifestyle and freedom of Australian society, why don't they optto seek "asylum" in a Muslim country, and live under the sharia law they they profess to admire. The answer is quite simple - what seems to be limitless welfare hand outs by the unwilling Australian taxpayer, who is being ignored by lefty soft headed do-gooders who believ that they have the right to over ride the majorities wishes and do as they please.
