1162072 2010-12-15 23:23:00 I just got myself a $150 top up from 2 degrees and got a Free handset (HuaweiG7010) oh man this thing has got me stumped on how to actually set the blardy thing up.

I figured out how the camera works and I think I got how the thing works with making calls but can I find the settings screen to actually set the time etc...nope.

So gave 2degrees a ring...no idea so they gave me the number at Huawei to ring. Guess what they could not help either because they were a agent and there is no helpdesk for Huawei. They refered me back to 2 degrees......:stare:

What ever happened to simple phones to be able to use and not these mega complicated touch screen phones that do everything but make a pot of coffee :badpc:

1162073 2010-12-15 23:44:00 That's not the Android phone is it?
If its Android, then from the home screen, Push menu --> Settings

if it's not, you might wanna look at something like:

1162074 2010-12-16 03:12:00 Thanks for the notice, dad just got a phone for pretty much just $19 :D

His new one ever, he's only used my old phone in the past and liked the old Nokias - early 2000s. The LG slide phone had the bigger buttons that he liked.

Althou, it appears some phones now have the charger awkwardly placed that you need to open this small cover. I can understand for other stuff but for the charger you gonna use every day or so ... :annoyed: plus the phones tend to be made of less solid plastic.

A whaaaa :help:

I got it figured out after another phone call to 2degrees and passing to 3 differant people before I got someone who knew a bit more about the phone and was patiantly helping me work this out.

What it boiled down to is thumb movement :dogeye: simply put the way I was handling the thing and not knowing what I was doing

Think I got it figured now but I tell you what I certainly miss my old Nokia 3310 basic and ideal.:thanks
