| 1162793 | 2010-12-18 03:48:00 | I like to shop at New World as they are NZ owned. But Coundtown is nearer to me nowadays, so I tend to shop there. I am not one of these to drive an extra 5K to buy a can of baked beans on special. The petrol and my time are worth more than that. As regards GST on food Yo all those people who say take it off food (which may be a good thing) I would like to say what would you like the government to put GST up on evreything else by ? (They have to get a certain amount of money) And those who grow their own veggies don't pay any GST at all ! |

I was glad to hear that because i've been telling the wife that for years! | tuiruru (12277) | ||

That pre supposes that your one seed grows into a viable plant and actually produces 30 tomatoes which unfortunately we can not gaurantee. I now feel tempted to go outside and take a picture of an attempt to grow silverbeet. At the moment they look more holey than righteous in spite of putting down slug bait etc. |

Silverbeet is one thing (apart from weeds of course) that I can grow with no trouble at all! However, you do back up the argument about factoring in things like the cost of slug bait. |
