| 1197369 | 2011-04-28 11:41:00 | "Put the CM7 files (Cyanogenmod Rom + Gapps) on the root of your SD Card (Root meaning don't put it in any folder)" there's two versions, would i download the recovery version or the fastboot? and root of SD card i understood, does that mean i extract the zip folder onto the SD or just leave it as a zip. | 1197370 | 2011-04-28 21:09:00 | Just leave it as a .zip file. If you extract it, it won't do anything. You want the recovery version, as you'll be flashing it from within "Recovery Mode" on your phone :) |

| 1197376 | 2011-04-29 04:26:00 | OK so did you root your phone using Z4root? If so, download "ROM Manager" from the Marketplace (Its free) and then fire it up and use ROM Manager to install ClockworkMod. |

Basically once you've got ROM Manager, you follow the steps from before ^ 1) Get root 2) Get ROM Manager 3) Use ROM Manager to install ClockworkMod (Recovery) 4) Copy CyanogenMod & Gapps .zip files to the root of your SD Card 5) Reboot into Recovery 6) Flash the CM7 then Gapps .zip files 7) Factory reset 8) Reboot into your new CyanogenMod ROM! :) |
