| 1162990 | 2010-12-18 11:36:00 | Hi Chill What's chrome got over Firefox and how much of a hassle is it to swap? Chrome is MUCH quicker to start (although I do have a fair number of addons in FF, which does slow down the start up). But Chrome has a pretty good selection of extensions (aka addons), including Adblock Plus, although I'm still waiting for someone to provide a Fast Dial version for Chrome (Speed Dial just doesn't cut it). It's very easy to use. No need to 'swap' - you can download and install Chrome and run it alongside FF - set Chrome as default browser while you play. If you don't like it you can always go back to FF.... |

When it tried to copy my FF settings it locked the laptop, and twice, trying to follow one of my links to youtube it's locked up again - each time all I could do was hold the power button down and then re-start. Any ideas it does seem faster tho' |
