Subject: Alert: Virus Detected but not Cleaned - Attachment Removed [Telephone Program] Yahoo!Xtra Mail Virus Protection detected the virus 'RTL_SUSPEK.SH-5' in the file 'ivmsetup_v3.04_My licenced version.exe', attached to the enclosed email message. We scanned the file using Norton AntiVirus but were unable to clean it. Therefore, we removed the content of the attachment from the message. Please contact the message sender if you want to receive the attachment. They must clean the file and resend it before we can deliver it to you safely. Yahoo!Xtra Mail successfully cleans most infected attachments, which protects you from viruses. |

Because they couldn't clean the virus from the file, the attachment was deleted, and the original email is enclosed to the virus warning message. End of story. If you really want whatever file that is, and know it's OK, then get the sender to re-send it inside a passworded ZIP file or something. If it came from nobody you know then just ignore it. |
