can anyone offer some info about GMER please? the result file is about as clear to me as the "HiJackthis" one, I don't understand it - does the programme show if there are any problems? like maybe hilite an entry if a problem exists, or similar? |

Its for rootkits. If it brings up a log, after you do a scan whats it say?

So where / or what are you sending it to? Just use Kaspersky's tool. I haven't used Gmer that much / a lot. |

Gmer highlights possible rootkit in red and after some research on google you can delete them from the system using a right click option in Gmer. |
