1198729 2011-05-02 01:53:00 Under Comp Mgmt is this not possible?

I have 5GB unalloc (from same disk) . D partition can extend but C cannot . C can only shrink .

1198731 2011-05-02 02:28:00 C: is probably active system disks, meaning you cant extend while the system is running! SolMiester (139)
1198732 2011-05-02 02:49:00 I use Partition Magic which allows resizing all partitions as far as I know, right now I have 9 partitions! Brucem (8688)

1198735 2011-05-02 03:38:00 under Windows 7 (not sure about Vista) you can extend the partition size while the OS is running. If you have a 5GB free partition, just go into disk management and right-click on the C partition, this should give you the option to "extend volume". ronyville (10611)
