1199290 2011-05-05 06:42:00 OP: your upload speeds are poor.

Your upload shouldn't be that bad, as your download is very good.

So how do you work that out?

1199292 2011-05-05 08:02:00 @ vfr_nz - I wish I had your figures! I am in an adsl2+ area with newish lines (like about 5 years old), same modem as yours, and I would kill to get near those rates!

Look at the upload. If I try speedtest to the US it times out!

Thats my problem - if I can get fast down WHY NOT fast up.
Can't be a line or wiring issue.

Could be modem setup. Some suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you need fast upload? if not than you should not worry about it.

1199295 2011-05-05 08:24:00 Upload speeds are normally less than download speeds unless you pay for the right plan.

Go for a leased line maybe.

Not normally, always with an ADSL2+ connection.
That what the A in ADSL means.
Asymmetric
The max upload with ADSL2+ is about 1000Kbps

1199297 2011-05-05 10:12:00 Which is why I said normally.

There are other connection types.

1199298 2011-05-05 21:12:00 You're syncing incredibly well, with great line stats, so your wiring is fine.

If you're having inconsistent upload speeds, take it up with your ISP.
