1199880	2011-05-06 09:10:00	Hard case I have just received an email it is siyuanlwzg@189.cn subject is row of question marks. It has an attachment which I havent opened. I cant delete it it just locks up the program. other emails can be deleted. How please can I get rid of it Thanks. I have XP and email program is Outlook Express	prefect (6291)

1199882	2011-05-06 09:31:00	Thanks Speedy Managed to delete in safe mode it went to deleted emails folder. Wont let you delete emails in delete emails folder. Went back to normal start the email is there in deleted folder and I cant permanently delete emails from deleted emails folder. Will run a scan	prefect (6291)
1199883	2011-05-06 20:52:00	Probably a corrupted deleted items folder. Show Hidden Files and Folders under Start | Control Panel | Folder Options | View. With OE closed go to Start/Search Search for Deleted items.dbx and delete it Open OE and a new Deleted Items folder will be created	Safari (3993)

Had to uninstall and reinstall OE to fix it got advice from another computer forum, quite a common problem with nasty emails coming from communist china	prefect (6291)

Had to uninstall and reinstall OE to fix it got advice from another computer forum, quite a common problem with nasty emails coming from communist china The reason you could not delete the emails from the Inbox was because of the corrupted Deleted Items folder. By reinstalling OE you created new empty folders. The same thing can be accomplished by deleting the .dbx file, a lot easier and all your Inbox and Sent stay intact.	Safari (3993)

It was only one email a communist chinese one that couldnt be deleted all other could. This email when highlighted greyed out the delete button. All other emails fine	prefect (6291)
