| 1199879 | 2011-05-06 23:03:00 | Google Webmaster Central Blog (googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com) has a few ideas/procedures on how to remove web pages. Can take several weeks for cache pages/links to be fully removed, when I once removed a blog and pdf pages, if no request action is taken. Some set up a redirect before removal. Might want to check any back links with Yahoo Explorer (siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/) (which is known to show more back links than Google's back link checker), since other web sites might have a live link pointing to the removed/cached page. |
