Although I can open all my files and stuff, it is still a pain. Would anyone know what is causing it?

1199799 2011-05-06 04:03:00 Have you cleaned out cookies etc? What browser are you using? CliveM (6007)
1199800 2011-05-06 04:06:00 I am on google chrome. I will give ccleaner a run and be back nerd (109)
1199801 2011-05-06 04:18:00 Nope, that didn't help at all. nerd (109)
1199802 2011-05-06 06:27:00 Extra info: It doesn't happen when the computer has just been started so could it be a memory thing?
And I just noticed that my cpu is extremely hot.
e.g. Right now I am using about 40% cpu and 1.9gb ram but only running foobar, speccy, apex dc++ 5 tabs on chrome and msn. It says my cpu temperature is at 85 Celsius, which is ridiculous. I have a 2.3 ghz i5 processor.

1199803 2011-05-06 08:19:00 I See you have Zonealarm and MSSE - is the zone Alarm the one with the Antivirus ?

If so that wont be helping.

Being W7, click start, type in reli in the search results, open View reliability History, when it opens, look for a red circle with a white X, if there are a lot of them, click one, or two, and see what the problem is.

1199804 2011-05-06 09:41:00 I use za to stop some media thing wasting my internet and msse for antivirus.
The x's on the reliability montior was just a bunch of programs crashing.

1199805 2011-05-06 12:00:00 Mine does that occasionally as well.

Normally when I've got to much open, and its trying to do to many different things at once. Generally its also when the folder I'm opening has a lot of data in it, combined with the above actions.

to stop some media thing wasting my internet Sounds like a problem that needs to be fixed, not side stepped by blocking with other software.

Can you make it do it or is it completely random ?
wainuitech (129)
1199806 2011-05-06 12:26:00 It's not completely random, it just happens every time I am plugged into my Snap connection in my room at Canterbury uni. Some program in the background just downloads stuff at like 2+MB/s so I had to log off internet, so I blocked all connections with za. nerd (109)
