| 1199708 | 2011-05-05 22:30:00 | Hi guys, been looking at ram for my m4n98td and phenom 2 955 x4. I'm after 2x2gb, and after reading a bit of info, I'm thinking it might not be worthwhile going above 1333mhz, as apparantly this makes little difference in real world/gaming performance. Whats your opinion on frequency/latency? My board supports 2000mhz, but would 1333mhz cl7 make more sense than 1600mhz or 2000mhz oc? I've been looking at ascent part number 386431. As much as I'd like bragging rights to 2000mhz oc, is it really worthwhile? Can I safely overclock that ascent part to, say, 1600mhz? :pf1mobmini: |
