| 1199623 | 2011-05-05 10:40:00 | www.trademe.co.nz i'm thinking of putting a bid on this, as i've read its tech specs and it seems better than my crappy ati radeon 9600. for one, the card in that link supports pixel shader 4.1 wheras my radeon is only 2.0. So what are your thoughts? and is the price they are asking decent or too dear? tech specs: www1.sapphiretech.com |

| 1199628 | 2011-05-05 21:05:00 | Whats the full model of your card, A Radeon 9600 ??(what) If you go to Video benchmark (http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/) - look through the bottom end and mid range you will see theres many different models of Radeon 9600 -- Depending on what model, will depend on the scores. Locate the one you have, then compare it to the one you are looking at buying. The bench marks will give a good comparison. BTW - the HD 3650 is in the mid range list ( #246) But it doesn't say its a Sapphire, and 13 different 9600's in the same list. |

| 1199630 | 2011-05-05 22:31:00 | Going by the benchmark tests results, the HD3650 is slightly better than the 9600 (only just) 159 compared to 246. All the cards are run through the same test, so the results are reasonably accurate for the tests they do. Being AGP, you are very limited these days for selection. The question I'd be asking,is it better to get a New card, higher performance, 463 benchmark high end list (www.videocardbenchmark.net) with a better warranty - something like This one from Ascent (www.ascent.co.nz). Its not listed as a Sapphire on benchmarks site, but it would still be better than the one on Trademe, and its New, so in the event of any problems at least you would have some sort of comeback / Warranty. |

| 1199631 | 2011-05-06 06:34:00 | Save up and buy a 5770. They're basically standard 2day and I wouldn't go much lower. If your going to upgrade your pc ie ram. DDR is quite expensive. So I'd personally save up and buy a better all rounded pc. | icow (15313) | ||
