1166187 2011-01-01 03:59:00 In the end it's a matter of personal choice, my health is no-one else's business. I'm not injuring anyone's health

Bullshit! It's my tax dollars that go to support the provision of health services to smokers, who, like obese people, are a serious drain on the system.

I'm am happy for smokers to continue their filthy habit (not in my presence though, thank you) so long as that sign a binding agreement that they will require no use of the health system for the rest of their lives, for WHATEVER reason (whether they continue to smoke or give up in a few years time).

Plus, do smokers not know just how horrible they smell (even if they smoke outside)? The stink clings to clothes and hair like the proverbial to a blanket.

They subside health care for non-smokers to the tune of 600 million every year. You should thank them, The tax take from tobacco sales far exceeds the cost of smoking related illness.

1166195 2011-01-01 06:26:00 Yep. But I'm paying taxes for upkeep of the roads and cyclists don't! Snorkbox (15764)
