| 1165752 | 2010-12-30 21:40:00 | Another random question from me :p I am working on another pump and I need to get some new leathers for it. They are 2" (5cm) dia and each leather is just over 1/2" making the whole assembly 1 1/4" long Does anyone know where I could buy new leathers from? Apparently Paykels engineering sell them but I couldn't find any on their site. I also need to get some gland packing (cheap) Paykels DO sell that, but at price! You might not be able to see from the pic but the current leathers are pretty worn so I can't even attempt to salvage them. :annoyed: Cheers! |

| 1165754 | 2010-12-30 22:07:00 | I'm in wellington, used to install dairy equipment, irrigation and flood drainage equipment in whakatane, I don't know who our supplier was, probably some wholesaler in Auckland. I'll try find a pumping workshop in wellington but I don't know if they will have what I need since most of them service small centrifugal or multistage pumps rather than piston pumps. I'll contact the guys up at whakatane and see who the supplier was/is and whether they will ship to wellington |
