1165739 2010-12-30 20:55:00 I think that Skype is fantastic! I don't have an Iphone, but use Skype, occasionally, and really enjoy the video capability. I have a daughter in Sydney and find it really enjoyable to see her as well as talk to her. The added bonus, of course, is that it's free!

Does anyone else use Skype very much?

Just about everyone!

Online 24/7, skype on my phone, even my land line number is through Skype. $5 for unlimited nation calls, great bang for buck.

Many people just download the Skype app or Fring .

We don't use Skype much b/c of the data and with international phone cards and prob some others for domestic calls, calls 24/7 anytime can be quite cheap .

When I travel overseas I use the free WIFI at the accomodation, probably free at the medium or budget options than top hotels because they have it as a surcharge . At home, I have a Wifi Skype handset so the computers don't need to be on .

With NZ's state of Naked ADSL the line charge is still not totally free . Ie . , standard ADSL might be $50 BB + $40 landline . Naked ADSL might work out to be $70 .
