Happens every time it freezes, as the pads on the rear brakes are locked to the rotors (4-wheel disc) and they don't like to yield very easily.

About that same time, you might've seen some white bottles standing in the near distance - that's my water heating and cooking gas. I use about 25 octothorpes/11.34 Kilograms of propane a month. My heating is by wood stove - which I really like a lot!

Fairly rural eh.

Yeah - about 1-hour (45-miles/74.4KM or so) from a large town where I can buy comestibles, combustibles and candy. That's down a twisty-mountain road in any of three directions, but the shortest way is all dirt and I take that way in better weather.

The dirt road is 18 miles/29KM as the crow flies through three rivers, a couple of trout streams and past a medium security prison.

I can get to Palm Springs or Hemet in about the same time, but Temecula-Murrieta is a tad closer.

My nearest guitar store (of critical consideration!) is 66 Miles/106KM away in Murrieta.

I can buy gasoline here at about a 15%/15% price penalty but the other food market that I pointed to are the biggest robbers in the world. That's because by their rotten attitude they've driven all their customers away and they cannot sell as much and raise the prices to compensate for lost sales.

Sorry to say, the lady who owns it is Vietnamese, and she will come up to you and spit right in your face and ask if you are a VC spy and she'll kill you if you are.

Needless to say, it kinda dampens the need to buy anything there a second time. They're almost broke now and I expected them to be gone by now - but 2011 is almost here and maybe they'll be gone soon.

The Circle-K store is pretty cool and milk is really cheap there, but their other products are somewhat dear.

The market under the tent - not on that same video - is there every Wed and Sat-Sun for the local produce. I will upload that when I can get a little better pipe tonight - right now I am running pretty slow.

If you saw the whole video - you might be able to visualize that dropping beheaded bodies off in the area is pretty easy. The Mexican Mafia is killing the independent cookers in the area - good riddance, and of course the illegals are running scared now.

We had a foursome beheaded near here this past Summer (NZ= Winter) and so far it seems when the sun goes down, there aren't any illegals to be seen anywhere. The black helicopters and lots of official-looking unmarked cars with guys in black suits were all over the place but not one TV or radio crew to broadcast the event.

There may have been other incidents of which I am not privy.

The area is pretty nice with soft winds in Summer from the ocean during the day and maybe some stronger gusts at night. The hottest temps I've seen here are just 100ºF/37.78ºC, and the coldest was 17ºF/-8.3ºC over night.

Typically we'd have snow by now. I think we forgot to pay for it and we won't see any until the next billing period.
