2010-12-28 20:58:00 | Got a wii, it sits in its box. The 360 kinect is the one that is being advertised at the moment. A few members here have them. I would say go for the 360 after my experience with the wii. Most stores will have them set up for you to test | plod (107) | |
2010-12-28 22:19:00 | I bought a Kinect recently. I'm impressed so far - the tracking is remarkably accurate, and despite what some reviews say, the lag is virtually unnoticable (and doesn't affect gameplay). Overall I think the technology is great - it's just a matter of waiting for some more/better games to come out.

2010-12-29 01:21:00 | Nintendo is struggling as people will buy a Wii, but hardly anyone buys additional games after they purchase so they don't make a lot of money on after the initial sale. Xbox is a better pick, as not only does it have decent games but it has a media centre built in.

2010-12-29 02:13:00 | if you have a choice, buy a 360. Kinect is a very cool piece of hardware and the stuff you can do with it is great. From my experience 360's have a much better game play than Wii's, also the navigation and general UI is much nicer. I have been at a couple of friends places with little kids and having to point the controller around is a pain

2010-12-29 04:48:00 | From what I've seen the Wii is for anyone under 5 or over 95. One quick note, if you have young children who will be young for a while, then get Wii as a short term investment. 360 will be a bit beyond them (with the old controllers) with kinect all the games designed so far have been aimed at the little tots so that changes a bit
