Well let's face it, you'd never be in a position to lead anything other than a queue for a hand out, because that would mean you'd actually have to get up and do something positive and I strongly suspect you're incapable of that. But if you want to start somewhere, apparently your neighbourhood is crime infested and needs a hand, why not put your money where your mouth and "halt this disgrace". The problem is that the inept system, spearheaded by "blame society, not the offender" and "they'll reform... just you wait, give them another chance" prosecutors and judges such as yourself, is dragging the world down and spending money on useless ideas that do no good, except make life easier for those who prey on society. Clearing the social guilt behind everything that's gone wrong is the first step in dealing with it. There are bad people in this world and we can't fix them, so how about we put the fear of god in them and if that does not work, we lock them up in something as close to hell as possible and throw away the key. I'm not sure how you right a post, is that the opposite of how you left one?? Metla was proposing that people look after their own with their own money, so you views on tax are somewhat off the mark. I don't know anyone who holds the view that society is to blame with the possible exception of yourself. As for useless ideas, I agree if we implemented your thoughts it would indeed be a waste of tax payers money. How the hell you would clear social guilt is an interesting thought. What the hell it has to do with anything I'm not sure but yet again if you look at the facts, imprisonment and putting the fear of God into people has been shown to be expensive and ineffective.
