Turn on mass storage mode manually
1. Connect your BlackBerry® device to your computer.
2. In the device options, click Media Card.
3. Verify that the Mass Storage Mode Support field is set to On.
4. Verify that the Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected field is set to No or Prompt.
5. Press the Menu key.
6. Click Enable USB Mass Storage.

Turn off the mass storage mode prompt
1. In the device options, click Media Card.
2. Perform one of the following actions:
To turn on mass storage mode automatically when you connect your BlackBerry® device to your computer, set the Auto Enable
Mass Storage Mode When Connected field to Yes.
To turn on mass storage mode manually when you connect your device to your computer, set the Auto Enable Mass Storage
Mode When Connected field to No.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Save.

Turn off mass storage mode support
1. In the device options, click Media Card.
2. Set the Mass Storage Mode Support field to Off.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Save.

Will give it a go but I think ive already tried it lol. Might try another pc aswell.

and ive tried nearly every method and it doesnt work. All device features are on.

The Pearl will prompt you to turn on mass storage when you connect with the USB cable, and will appear under your computer in explorer as removeable storage...

It doesn't do that. Says nothing.

Is the blackberry desktop manager software installed on the PC? (this has the drivers for Windows).....check the Blackberry to see if Mass storage turned on, options(setting)>media card and check they are as in photo

1199692 2011-05-11 07:00:00 Yes, It has BB Desktop Software installed on PC (Version which came on disc in box - When I updated it, there was no roxio media manager, and mass storage did not work so downgraded - cant remember version.) and mass storage is enabled on phone like it is in the pic. sahilcc7 (15483)
