1200867 2011-05-09 11:29:00 Copy and paste? PDF to word wrecks the formatting

I have a pdf to word converter here that does not change the formatting for some reason. I had to pay for it but it wasn't too expensive.

Able2ExtractPro.

A trial will convert a pdf to word but only the first three pages unless you pay.

For the record I have version 5 and they seem to be up to Ver7 now.

1200870 2011-05-09 11:43:00 If you are trying to send attachments via Email I usually use *.rtf and they can be opened even in Wordpad or any other word processor.

I usually save in *.pdf if I want to password protect the document so that no one can change the document like an invoice or quote.

Does it work with the printable version of the tread? Cos that's what I'm going to use it for.

If so, it is simple as falling off a log in a ChCh earthquake ( sorry couldn't resist that :) ) -- simply change the thread view to text, then ctrl+A to select all, ctrl +C to copy - open word, ctrl +V to paste it in, edit out what you dont want..

1200875 2011-05-09 22:50:00 Maybe search for an online URL converter, such as web tool hub (www.webtoolhub.com), or check out Convert Zone. ( There are also online annotation tools, e.g. Fleck (http://labnol.blogspot.com/2006/11/sticking-post-it-notes-on-webpages.html" target="_blank">www.convertzone.com/) Maybe Google Docs can convert, and save for possible sharing, printing, and downloading. There are also online annotation tools, e.g. Fleck (http:) and awesome highlighter (www.labnol.org) if you want to highlight and save or share. kahawai chaser (3545)
