1165519 2010-12-29 20:52:00 The stars of the hit motoring show Top Gear have sparked religious criticism after dressing in burqa-style clothing while filming an episode in the Middle East.

Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond disguised themselves as women by wearing Islamic face veils which only revealed their eyes in a Christmas show filmed in Syria.

In the episode, broadcast on the BBC on Boxing Day to six million viewers, the hosts drove across the Middle East to trace the path of the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem.

But their choice of attire backfired, prompting complaints from Muslims in Britain who said the show mocked their religion.

I am inclined to be more concerned about those who blow themselves, and others, up while wearing a burqa thus insulting beliefs etc of most of the rest of the world.

I think JC has mocked mostly everyone, and Christians should probably be more offended with it.

1165528 2010-12-30 01:09:00 Well I guess we have to wait for the creationists(sp?) to say god made cars and they shouldn't be in gods cars, then have the scientologists say top gear is a conspiracy... rob_on_guitar (4196)
