2019-06-27 06:44:00 | Anyone using ccleaner, noticed today when installing 559 check carefully whats ticked -- they have included the option to install their own Browser. Seems its only available on some of the computers here - bit weird ?? Let it install to see whats what, its based on Chrome and adding in various quick links on the home page. You can untick the install box (bottom left) if you don't want it should it appear. It's default clean up - Protection is: 9778

2019-06-27 07:47:00 | That option doesn't appear on the slim version which is the one I always download | gary67 (56) | |
2019-06-27 23:00:00 | So , the program to help clean up the PC is itself turning into Bloatware :badpc: :) Heres the link for the portable version. That may be the way to go from now. www.ccleaner.com

2019-06-27 23:51:00 | CCleaner really has turned to junk since Avast bought them. I do still use it but only with the slim installer, turn it off so it doesn't run in the background and I've not gone newer than version 5.50 | wratterus (105) | |
2019-06-28 07:55:00 | I can confirm the Slim version of 5.59 the latest doesn't include any extras, it still works just as always. | gary67 (56) | |
