1461731 2019-06-26 04:05:00 I'd rather something from the Amiga or Atari ST era, same style of games with vastly improved graphics.
I do sometimes miss the style of games we had back then, but running an emulator and replaying them is not the same mainly because modern controllers don't suit those games very well.

I had a C64 as my first PC, then an Atari ST, then a 386. ID software are responsible for a lot of my upgrades in hindsight.

1461732 2019-06-26 21:30:00 If I was going to get a c64 again, i'd get something like this (icomp.de).

There's also a lot of cartridges around now that allow you to store your disks on SD card, connect to the internet etc etc. Its pretty impressive what the old girl can do :D

1461733 2019-06-26 23:45:00 I recently bought a Pandora's Box 6s . Its preloaded with over 1000 old timey games , mainly arcade games

I plugged it into a spare computer monitor (has ports for both both vga & hdmi) . Its really quite good. Too many games though .
