1459558 2019-03-29 21:45:00 Trying to use Ivacy VPN.
Followed the guide but I click on, it asks for password, I give it, it then disconnects.

They were helping via chat but then it hung up, email will take ages....any ideas they got me to do this so far:

1459559 2019-03-29 22:02:00 Have you setup your VPN as shown in the link below?
I notice the Log mentions MPPE required.

1459560 2019-03-29 22:46:00 OK, don't worry, had to untick one of the authentications....got it going.
But it was a fail.

All I wanted to do was watch Adrift on netflix, with a paid account.

But no....

I give up, everything I look for on it is blocked for NZ, but hey they're on Sky, so bugger it, I'll just pay for Sky Movies again.

1459561 2019-03-29 23:41:00 Try Turbo VPN.

I used it when I was in China recently. Very simple and easy to use and works great! I could access Youtube, Facebook and WhatsApp without any issue.

1459562 2019-03-30 05:47:00 Er....download on Google or Apple. It's Linux! No I am not signing up to Google Play or Apple.

nah.....I'll stick with Sky. Over it now.

1459563 2019-03-30 06:55:00 Maybe just as well you couldn't get it to work. Not all VPN's work with Netflix, including Ivacy (regardless of OS)

9508

This is what you get if trying to use a VPN that wont work with Netflix.
OK if you say so :D

When using a more expensive (generally) Something like Nord, that works ( or so it claims)

1459564 2019-03-30 08:40:00 I gave up on it, paid for a vpn that worked for a few months then stopped. Netflix regularly work to block them.
If it's just a single movie now and again you can hire then from the windows or google store or lightbox has an ok range.

There's other means of course.

1459565 2019-03-30 19:59:00 As dugimodo says. Ivacy were very helpful - I'll give them that, and apologetic, promptly refunding me.
As I said, easier to just pay for Sky movie channels.

1459566 2019-03-31 21:26:00 Might be a little late but I just recalled Stuffpix www.stuffpix.co.nz

Never used them but for single rentals it's an option
