1459440 2019-03-22 03:38:00 One system here runs Linux Mint 19.
If I access a spreadsheet type file on "OneDrive" it opens by default in Excel Online.
How can I open it in LibreOffice Calc ?

1459441 2019-03-22 06:56:00 You would need to download the file to the computer if you want to use Open Office do your work, then upload it again.

One drive uses a online version of MS Office, it doesn't use Open Office.

1459442 2019-03-22 07:18:00 Pretty sure OneDrive has WebDAV support so you could mount your OneDrive locally on your system and do it from there.

A good set of instructions here: www.linuxuprising.com

1459444 2019-03-30 21:48:00 Just giving another pull on this thread.
Regarding using OneDrive in Linux Mint 19.
I currently use it through a browser, which is ok.
But would like to be able to access it in a similar way to windows 10.
I have looked at several ways of doing this including the link in post #3.
They all contain many steps & lots of chances for me to screw it up.
My limited experiance with Linux has found this to be the case with setting up a lot of things.
I do a search for a solution & find many complicated ways of doing something.
Then someone comes up with a simple one or two liner in a terminal & it's done.

1459445 2019-03-31 01:34:00 Have found some rather easy instructions, BUT you have to remember, Onedrive is not designed for Link, ( like it is for Windows) so anything you use locally will be a workaround.

The instruction I found, I'll try, BUT it appears there you have to select the exact version, Do you have Mint 19 or 19.1 ?

1459446 2019-03-31 06:24:00 Sorry, been out of range for a while.

From system info:
Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon
Cinnamon Version 3.8.9
Linux Kernel 4.15.0-46 generic

1459447 2019-03-31 06:38:00 Haven't had time to actually try this, got rather busy. But heres the instructions - worth a crack. tutorialforlinux.com wainuitech (129)
1459448 2019-03-31 06:53:00 Could well be worth a crack, only eight parts too.

I'll have another look at it tomorrow.
