| 1459182 | 2019-03-18 01:44:00 | I have a Kyocera printer that has a web-based management console. It all works fine, except that it uses http instead of https, which means that every time I fire it up, Chrome has a hissy fit and tries to stop me using it. I spoke to Kyocera support and they suggested I need to import the security certificate from the printer. The tech had no idea how to do this, and neither do I. So my question is how do I import the security certificate from the printer? Any ideas? |

I've done the first one because you can specify a URL and left the second one for now as it seems to be a bit all-embracing. I'll report back (probably tomorrow.) |

| 1459185 | 2019-03-18 07:35:00 | What model printer? Is the firmware up to date? On the latest models there is a setting you can turn on https. Go to the Kyocera website www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.com.au Go to the Download Centre in Support and Download. Put your model in the product search box and click on the magnifying glass. This will bring up all the drivers, documentation, etc for your printer. Look in the Documentation section and download the Command Centre RX - User Guide PDF. Look in the Network Security Settings to find where the setting is you need to change. This should fix your problem. |
