While there is Windows server software, and the desktop looks similar to W10, its no where as simple in functioning as the Home /Pro versions of W10. Many big places use Linux, and NOT again the noob versions like Mint. REAL linux software Server Software. :D I've got a vague idea of some the many things W10 isn't. The puzzlement lies in trying to find what it IS ;) |

The puzzlement lies in trying to find what it IS ;) Shouldn't be to hard to track down (no matter the OS) The rest of PCWorld stays up when the forum goes down, so looking at the logs relating to the forum "should" give some clue. |

| 1462717 | 2019-08-26 05:31:00 | I'm picking they got back the cleaner who used to pull the plug on the server on many Friday nights to run the vacuum cleaner :-) . . . or the server dwarf who was sometimes last out on Fridays couldn't reach the light switch, so he turned off the server simply because it was the only switch he could reach if the company ladder had been put on the shelf . ;) |
