1462529 2019-07-19 07:10:00 Oh gosh, our Airforce plane has problems in Melbourne. The 757 Boeings are getting a bit long in the tooth methinks!

Embarassing ;)

1462530 2019-07-19 08:08:00 I think its how the air force operate the 757 which is the problem. They are always throttle bashing it. Because the taxpayer pays for the AVTUR they run a hotter EGT than a civvy airliner. Most disregarded gauge is the fuel flow meter. Pilot training instead of a simulator is circuit bashing at WP with fighter wannabees flying tight oval circuit patterns. prefect (6291)

I have the same problem with my walking frame at the moment. It's a bit of a worry.

You bet send the commie cow back, no send her to North Korea or Cuba.

1462535 2019-07-19 12:48:00 Don’t know why they don’t have a suitable aircraft replacement in the pipeline The 757 isn’t a great aircraft, seems to spend its days shuttling back and forth around the country sometimes it gets deployed for overseas duties. QW. (15883)
1462536 2019-07-19 20:55:00 been happening for ages:

1462537 2019-07-19 21:53:00 Unfortunately for us they kept letting the previous ones out instead of sending them to that Island hideaway they have for undesirables. gary67 (56)
1462538 2019-07-19 22:48:00 The 757 is a great plane, loved by pilots and passengers. There's still 600+ in service around the world and it's not the plane's fault the Air Force can't or won't maintain them. I assume that's out-sourced to Air NZ? allblack (6574)
