2019-07-19 07:10:00 | Oh gosh, our Airforce plane has problems in Melbourne. The 757 Boeings are getting a bit long in the tooth methinks! Embarassing ;) Ken

2019-07-19 08:08:00 | I think its how the air force operate the 757 which is the problem. They are always throttle bashing it. Because the taxpayer pays for the AVTUR they run a hotter EGT than a civvy airliner. Most disregarded gauge is the fuel flow meter. Pilot training instead of a simulator is circuit bashing at WP with fighter wannabees flying tight oval circuit patterns. | prefect (6291) | |

It's a bit of a worry. Ken :) |

2019-07-19 12:48:00 | Don’t know why they don’t have a suitable aircraft replacement in the pipeline The 757 isn’t a great aircraft, seems to spend its days shuttling back and forth around the country sometimes it gets deployed for overseas duties. | QW. (15883) | |

2019-07-19 21:53:00 | Unfortunately for us they kept letting the previous ones out instead of sending them to that Island hideaway they have for undesirables. | gary67 (56) | |
2019-07-19 22:48:00 | The 757 is a great plane, loved by pilots and passengers. There's still 600+ in service around the world and it's not the plane's fault the Air Force can't or won't maintain them. I assume that's out-sourced to Air NZ? | allblack (6574) | |
