1462071	2019-07-03 00:04:00	Out of money but neighbours decided they wanted the fence higher. This is their work so far. I've rung my fence guy I used before to quote. Guess who will have to pay 97869787.......... (It's my wood, left over from other fence) They had none, and how they going t attach it at top? 1462074	2019-07-03 11:07:00	Since when did the mob care about fencing laws or a council have the nerve to enforce them. I'm not going to be specific but I know of a gang pad where two houses are surrounded by a non compliant corrugated iron fence and have been for about 30 years, and when the police want to raid they ring ahead.	dugimodo (138)

I guess thats why this project as it is in the first place. One said oh it's easy, you just do (a, B, C). Uhuh. And thats what you get.... No they should have talked to us before jumping over and ripping the existing one apart and erecting that monstrosity. Imagine if I had done that to them....I think I might be in hospital if I had done such a thing. And leaving nails and bolts and stuff ground into the lawn, and smoke butts... Anyway, new guy there this morning....went and consulted him, he said he was told to "tidy it up", he has no idea if they have enough building materials or anything, just tidying whats there. he is an improvement... I have said unless they have the correct materials, and it's done right, then I prefer them to leave it, and my fence guy can do it. If they do have the materials, and he does it for instance (properly), ok fine. The ladies could bloody come and update me, couldn't they, might be helpful. remains to be seen. I'm waiting for my fencing guys quote. I want a decent fence not a rubbish tip. P.S. It is a family house not an HQ	piroska (17583)

1462077	2019-07-04 01:11:00	Move? It's my mums house. When she's dead, it's my brothers. We sold our (mortgaged) house to son, for the mortgage plus a bit, and moved here. Brother has disabilities, I'm to mind him. He couldn't afford to live here on his own anyway....and sell it? market value in this suburb is $80,000 - 100,000 less than other suburbs here. Even if it was my choice. Its worth about $305,000 according to the valuer websites.	piroska (17583)

1462079	2019-07-04 05:19:00	No. It's not my house. Anyway today a new guy arrived. Mr Head Tattoos. he was great! Lovely! And obviously a real builder. Well, his other career I guess. he ripped it all off and re-did it. Said he was shocked when he saw it. He spent all day out on the rain on his own and has fixed the bit that was done. He said he'd be back tomorrow. I tried to get out of the woman, not the owner, if she had enough iron but all I got was they have everything and have faith, So talked to Mr HT and said, if she hasn't which I suspect she doesn't, he can go get more, I'll pay for it, and he can finish it properly. because he is apparently supposed to, with what, who knows. patch all the short bits? He agreed that was a bad idea. So hopefully he can complete it tomorrow. I won't say what he said about that woman...but anyway, he was very helpful. Poor guy, on his own, in the rain slaving away.	piroska (17583)
