1202187 2011-05-15 02:15:00 At our school, we want to use our old computers as internet-only computers. Now, is there a way I can make a custom "build" of, say puppy, with just Firefox that launches on startup? I have a GParted disc which launches GParted on startup. I want something like that, as it also has a shutdown menu. bot (15449)

I recommend Puppy Linux. Also contains GParted, Firefox and Thunderbird. Open Office also runs on it.

Puppy can be run from a CD, USB drive or installed on the hard drive. Any PC will do.

1202191 2011-05-15 05:51:00 Perhaps one would want to have a play with Suse Studio?

And build something to their EXACT specification, rather than going for something else.

Edit: If you look in Suse Studio's Gallery, you will likely find something that you want. I found this: susegallery.com

No doubt there are many more.
